Welding preparation
Depending on the plate thickness, bevelling can be done with mechanical bevelling machines or semiautomatic gas cutters. Mechanical bevelling machines allow cutting of both sides without turning the plate upside down. Gas cutters require turning the plate.
The electric portable machines, CEVISA CHP12, are used to bevel plates up to 20mm thick. Plates of up to 30mm are bevelled with the use of
Plates with thickness over 30mm are processed with thermal cutting machine OMNIMAT L5000 equipped with 3 torch unit, which allow to make bevelling of detail simultaneously with its cutting.
Plates with thickness in over 30mm and Metal with yield strength 36 kg/mm2 are processed with semi-automatic gas cutters «Smena».
Total number of working places for edging and dimension control — 8.
Maximal thickness of processed rolled metal — 300 mm.
Storage capacity of raw material/production at the beveling area in the main shop — 8000 tons.
